Hampi + Aihole + Pattadakal

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hampi is a place that is rich with historical and cultural value. The former seat of power and capital of the Vijaynagara Empire, there are many sites of interest worth visiting such as the Vittala Temple, the Stone Chariot and the Elephant Stables, making this a must-visit place for history buffs

The surrounding areas of Badami, Aihole and Pattadakal showcase some of the finest examples of ancient Indian architecture and craftsmanship. From the Cave Paintings at Badami to the Wall Carvings of Aihole, there is so much to explore!

 

Hampi, Badami, Aihole and Pattadakal and are four most visited tourist destination in Karnataka state and part of the heritage Golden Triangle circuit with Bijapur. The sandstone temples, Caves and historical monuments of Hampi,Pattadakal and Badami are world heritage sites in India.

Itineraries

Day 1

Arrive Hospet

On arrive check into hotel. Evening visit Tunga Bhadra Dam and night stay at Hospet.

Day 2

Full Day Hampi Sightseeing

Post breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Hampi. Major attractions at Hampi include Vijaya Vittala Temple, Virupaksha Temple, Mint House, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables, Hazara Rama Temple, Queen’s bath, Anegundi and Anjana Parvatha. Visit as many places possible and overnight stay in Hospet.

Day 3

Hospet to Bijapur

Post breakfast leave for Bijapur. On arrival check into Hotel Pearl. Evening visit Gol Gumbaz, Jumma Masjid, Ibrahim Roza, Big Cannon, Upari Burj and Barah Kaman. Night stay at Bijapur.

Day 4

Bijapur - Badami

Post breakfast leave for Badami. On the way you may also visit Kudala Sangama Temple & Banashankari Temple which Hindu Temples. Visit Aihole & Pattadakal (World Heritage site) Temples. Night at Bijapur

Day 5

Departure

Morning visit Mahakoota temples and Badami rock cut caves. Departure with Sweet Memories
