Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Bagdogra | Drive to Gangtok (130 kms / approx. 4 hours)

Meet our representative upon arrival in Bagdogra and proceed to Gangtok - Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges. After reaching, check-in at the hotel for overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2

Sightseeing for Gangtok

After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way from Gangtok) & Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake. Situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok for Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

Day 3

Drive from Gangtok to Lachung (124 kms / approx. 6 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Lachung. On the way visit Tashi view point, seven sister’s water fall (Subjected the vehicle take the normal route). Later, continue your drive to Lachung. After reaching, check-in at the hotel for overnight stay in Lachung.

Day 4

Drive from Lachung to Gangtok

Early morning proceed on a half day excursion to Yumthang Valley (One way, 25 Kms / 2 Hrs.). Visit to Yumthang Valley is a day excursion from Lachung, which is an attraction for tourist visiting this region. The soaring snow-capped peaks, and herds of wandering yaks makes this a Himalayan paradise the valley is also known for its Hot spring. Although the water is quite dirty, many locals from the area visit to get themselves soaked & cured as believed. Afternoon transfer to Gangtok (124 Kms / approx. 6 Hrs.). Overnight at Hotel in Gangtok.

Day 5

Drive from Gangtok to Kalimpong (85 kms / approx. 4 hours)

Morning proceed for a half day sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show. Afternoon, drive to Kalimpong. After reaching, check-in at the hotel for overnight stay in Kalimpong.

Day 6

Drive from Kalimpong to Darjeeling (70 kms / approx. 3.5 hours

After breakfast, visit Dello hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills. Afternoon, leave for Darjeeling. Arrive and check-in to your hotel. Overnight in Darjeeling.

Day 7

Sightseeing of Darjeeling

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride. Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Evening return back to hotel for overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 8

Drive back from Darjeeling to Bagdogra (100 kms / approx. 4 hour)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bagdogra airport for return flight back home.
